Program Duration: 9 Weeks/36 Hours
Brief Course Description:
The objective of this course is to learn to observe the world in a detailed fashion and to coordinate the eye, the brain and the hand of the artist. Simple drawing principles such as the introduction to shapes and composition of complex objects are developed. By the end of this course, students will have a complete understanding of shapes, visual language and the composition of objects in their basic forms. This gives the students the liberty to reorganize and draw the objects in any way they desire. The students are thus prepared and able to draw, not just images that they can physically see, but images that they may have in their minds.
Programs Admission Requirements:
Students are required to provide the institute with a portfolio of creative work to be considered in the admission process. Students will be offered admission to drawing 1 based on the strength of their portfolio.
Portfolio Content and Format: Portfolios must have 5-10 pages/examples of work. Work must be creative and original. Any medium is accepted, including but not limited to photography, digital art, sculpture, painting, drawing and print. The process of documentation will be required for at least one piece.

DRAWING 2 – FIGURES
PART TIME CERTIFICATE

Program Duration: 9 Weeks/36 Hours
Brief Course Description:
The objective of this course is to teach students anatomic and gesture drawing. In anatomic drawing, basic human proportions, important human muscle groups and the motion of the human body will be studied. In gesture drawing, students will find the ability to capture the essential aspects of a human figure in a short period of time.
Learning Objectives/Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to draw a sophisticated and harmonized human body. Furthermore, student will be able to apply different techniques such as lighting, composition and texture in order to apply different moods and feelings to their drawings.

DRAWING 3 – LANDSCAPES
PART TIME CERTIFICATE

Program Duration: 9 Weeks/36 Hours
Brief Course Description:
The main focus of this course is landscape drawing. Topics include: vegetation (diverse variety of trees, plants, and flowers), water, fire, air, and soil textures in different weather conditions, buildings, people, and objects. Progressively, students will learn different methods to manifest the impression of each aspect of the scenery at hand.
Programs Admission Requirements:
-Completion of Drawing 1 and Drawing 2, or a strong portfolio.
Students will be offered admission to drawing 3 directly without attending in drawing 1 and drawing 2 based on the strength of their portfolio. Students are required to provide the institute with a portfolio of creative work to be considered in the admission process.
